Sacra Lumina Part 2
2024-09-05 UPDATE
Added monsters! Just zombies for now, and only for a short while, but there's a semi-randomness to it! They don't do damage yet, and there's no really benefit to killing them other than satisfaction, but that'll come later!
I've also got a cutscene system fleshed out! It'll only play a short conversation between two characters in the chapel for now, but all the systems are in place. It allows you to speed through the conversation by left clicking to insta-display and progress dialog. Now I just need to write the actual dialogs, create visual elements, allow cutscenes to move actors or the camera.... okay, so there's still a fair bit of work to do. But the foundation is there, and it's solid!
THE PROJECT
The theme for this was two-button controls, and so I'll continue with that build for now! The story revolves around a Templar excommunicated from her Order for showing too much interest in the dark rumors surrounding Castle Dracula. She takes up her sword, dons leather armor, and makes her way towards the nefarious Count's estate to take matters into her own hands.
CONTROLS
left Click --> Attack
Spacebar --> Jump
And that's it! Still a work in progress, you'll fall off the map after a while. Sorry about that.
